rehomuseumkMuseum

The Rehoboth Museum offers detailed information, exponates and photo documents pertaining to the geology of the Rehoboth region and the history of the Rehoboth Basters. The Museum lies next to the post office and can't be missed. It is open Mondays to Fridays from 9 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Tel 00264 (0)62 522954.

Rehoboth Spa
Rehoboth has a thermal bath with an outside and an indoor pool. If you have visited other hot springs in Namibia - like Gross-Barmen or Ai-Ais - you won't like this quite run-down Reho Spa. Much more rewarding is a visit to and overnight stay at the nearby Oanob Lake Resort.

Lake Oanob
About 10 km north-west of Rehoboth lies the Oanob Dam, an important water reservoir since 1990. Along the banks stretches the private nature reserve Oanob Lake Resort, 6800 ha in size. It boasts a considerable game stock - mainly antelope species, zebras and girafs - and offers accommodation at relatively moderate rates. A camping ground is also available. Various watersports facilities.
