Access
The Augrabies Falls National Park lies 120 kilometres west of Upington and 40 kilometres north-west of Kakamas. The access road is tarred, but there are only gravel roads in the park.

Augrabies Restcamp
Facilities Restaurant. Three swimming pools, petrol station, shop. Picnic spot for day visitors.
Accommodation In the Augrabies Falls National Park there is excellent accommodation available. A choice between 2-bed, 3-bed or 4-bed cottages for self-caterers. And there is a campground with shady sites and electricity.
Rates Family Cottage with aircon, 2 bedrooms and 4 beds, bathroom, kitchen: approx. R1200 per night. Chalet with aircon, 1 bedroom and 3 beds, bathroom, kitchenette: approx. R750 per night. Camping approx. 80 Rand per person. Conservation fee 90 Rand per person/day. |

Activities in the Park
Several attractve hiking trails in the Augrabies Park to Arrow Point (1 hour), to the Potholes (1 hour) and to the Moon Rock (1 hour). The Klipspringer Hiking Trail lasts 3 days and 2 nights and must be pre-booked. Maximum 12 participants per group. Not from October to March (too hot).
