Visit of Twyfelfontein
Access to Twyfelfontein goes via the road C39. 60 kilometres west of Khorixas turn left into D3254. After 21 km turn right on to the D3214.

The parking lot is situated close to the fountain in the valley. From there you start, accompanied by a guide, the climb to the rock slabs. The sign-posted path is very rugged and solid shoes are required. To see all the rock slabs, you should allow for at least two hours. It can become very hot in Twyfelfontein, and it is advisable to take a waterbottle along. - The most famous engravings are the "Lion Slab", the "Great Elephant" and the "Dancing Kudu".

Late afternoon is the best time to visit the rock engravings, because then the light is ideal for taking photographs.
