HIGHLINE TRAVEL GUIDES are based in Füssen/Bavaria. Since 1998 we produce reliable and comprehensive online travel guides and tourism websites, for the German speaking and the international market.
All our publications consist of informative texts (no euphoric sales talk), comprehensively illustrated with excellent photos.

Klaus G. HinkelmannKlaus is a photographer, journalist and publisher. He is the author of this online travel guide and travelled Namibia firstly in 1990, the year of Namibia's independence. He fell in love with the country and a year later went on a 6-months jouney through all parts of Namibia. Subsequently he produced a Namibia CD ROM. Klaus lived in Cape Town for many years until he settled in Fuessen in Bavaria in 2008. He travels to Namibia once or twice a year. He is also the author of the South Africa online travel guide www.southafrica-travel.net (www.suedafrika.net in German), online since 1999, which, at this stage, has 8000 readers per day.
Christine HinkelmannChristine is the co-author of the Namibia and South Africa Online Travel Guides of HIGHLINE TRAVEL GUIDES. She does the English translation and the marketing of the websites. She comes from Hamburg, where she studied philosophy, Spanish and history. She lived in South Africa for more than 20 years.
