The Arts&Crafts Centre Sand Dragon is worth a visit. It offers artwork and jewellery of extraordinary beauty. You can also nicely sit here and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea or have a light lunch. Kristall KellereiThe first established wine estate in Namibia lies on the road D2328, four kilometres north-east of Omaruru. On four hectares, two different wines are produced; Colombard and Ruby Cabernet. There is a little tavern where you can sit, have a snack and sample the estate wine. Guided tours are offered. The owner Helmuth Kluge has created Namibian wine and is an interesting man to talk to. Tel: 064 570083.
