 Tambuti is a small Lodge beautifully perched above the Kavango River overlooking the floodplain. Tambuti is one of the rare lodges looking at the river without getting wet feet, thus it is also open during the flood season, all year round. Conveniently located on the small road leading down to the river from the center of Rundu town, 400m from banks and shops. The ideal stop-over before heading to the deeper Kavango and Caprivi wild bush.Accommodation: The 4 spacious bungalows all overlook the Kavango River and include telephone, TV with satellite channels, en-suite showers, mosquito net and mosquito tight screens at windows. All bungalows have Queensize beds (with back & neck friendly mattress & pillows). The triple/luxury bungalow has a shower and a bath. Air-condition is available for a small fee of N$ 50 (in line with our eco-guidelines). Solar electricity powered lights. A collection of selected wines is available for room service. Activities and services: Swimming pool. Kayaks & canoes available for self-exploration of the floodplain. Sun set cruises can be organized in advance in partnership with the Samsitu camp 15km outside Rundu located directly in the Kavango floodplain.
