Kánsimba Game Lodge offers wonderful accommodation and meals, famous hospitality, an abundance of wildlife and birds, professional guides and trackers and breathtaking scenery. The lodge is just 2 hours out of Windhoek, on well-tarred roads. Discover the freedom of wide open spaces, clear blue skies and fresh clean air. Enjoy nature at its wildest and most unspoilt. A stay at the Kánsimba Game Lodge is the perfect antidote for the stresses and pressures of modern living.

Accommodation: In contrast to most commercialised facilities, Kánsimba offers personalised, secluded accommodation and a family-like atmosphere conducive to enjoyment and relaxation. All guest rooms are comfortably furnished and have en-suite bathrooms. Each guest room also has a balcony leading onto the garden, which is filled with the natural vegetation of this region. At the end of 1997 we added three luxury suites which offer a high degree of personal comfort. The suites have balconies overlooking the river with spectacular scenic views of the bush and mountains beyond.
 Activities: Take a game drive through the bush or hike in the mountains where the bushmen once lived hundreds of years ago. Day walks and trails are aimed at discovering the unexpectedly beautiful bird life, bushmen paintings and different game species at various waterholes, from natural and man-made hides. There's never a dull moment at Kánsimba with game drives, aerial game viewing, bushmen paintings, and the most spectacular countryside. After a hot day in the bush there is nothing more refreshing than a dip in our crystal clear swimming pool.

Our kitchen serves a variety of either traditional or local dishes as well as salads, fresh fruits and home grown vegetables. Dinner is directly served from the grill in the lapa, which overlooks an illuminated water hole and the riverbed.
