Guestfarm Niedersachsen - Windhoek - Namibia

The Farm Niedersachsen has a long tradition. It borders on the Namib desert, 160 km west of Windhoek on the road D1982. The castle-like farmhouse stands on a hill offering a panoramic view of the softly undulating savannah landscapes. It is a working Karakul sheep farm of the size of 18.535 hectares, bounded by the remote mountain range of the Khomas highland.

Niedersachsen offers 5 spacious guest rooms with two beds each. They all are comfortably furnished and have a bathroom with shower and toilet and a cosy corner with comfortable easychairs, table and reading light. Some rooms also have a verandah with garden furniture. Full board with Namibian farm food such as game dishes. Generous breakfast, farm trips, tours to the near Namib-Naukluft Park and star gazing from the farmÕs own observatory.
