Epako is a luxurious 11 000 ha safari game lodge near Omaruru in Namibia. The lodge is located in beautiful mountainous surroundings on the outskirts of the Damaraland and conveniently located midway between Windhoek, Swakopmund and the Etosha National Park. Epako offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The safari lodge boasts a wide variety of animals and at least 170 species of birds have been identified. Game drives include visits to Namibian San Paintings and Rock Engravings which are located within our boundaries.

One of the places most favoured is the inside and outside dining area which overlooks a waterhole. This drinking spot is frequented throughout the day by many different animals and lit up at night. Relax here and enjoy a meal or just a drink from the bar and if you are lucky you might meet Oscar, a tame giraffe. Take pleasure in the feeding of the Cheetah and sundowners on one of Damaraland‘s mountains with wonderful views of the Namibian landscape.

Accommodation is luxurious and all rooms have air-conditioning, a mini-bar, telephone, bathroom ensuite and a terrace.		 Amenities for your enjoyment: Dining Room overlooking lit-up waterhole. Bar and Lounge with satellite TV. Large gardens with walkways and seating. Swimming pool. Internet facilities. Tennis courts. Souvenir shop. Table-tennis. Small aviary.

Meals are a combination of Namibian and French cuisine with excellent South African wines to complete the experience. Special diets are available on request.

The management of our lodge is fluent in French, English, German, Italian and Dutch, while our specially trained Namibian guides speak English, Herero and Afrikaans as well as a few words of French and German.

Rates: Double room from N$1107 per person for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. From N$1257 Lunch, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast.
